The 0730 hrs Lesson

Attendance matters more than we sometimes realise; especially in the early years.

Research consistently shows that children who attend school regularly achieve more highly, develop stronger friendships, and build the confidence and routines that lead to long-term success. These habits begin in EYFS and Key Stage 1. Early learning lays the foundations for literacy, numeracy, language development and social skills. When children miss school, they miss key building blocks.

Just as importantly, school is a community. Here in Oman, we deeply value belonging, respect and shared responsibility. Each child’s presence strengthens the whole. Arriving on time and attending consistently teaches children that their contribution matters — to their classmates, their teachers and to themselves.

  • Punctuality builds confidence.
  • Consistency builds resilience.
  • Showing up builds character.

Thank you for your partnership in ensuring your child attends school every day and arrives ready to learn. Together, we create the rhythm that allows every child to thrive.
